O’zapft is!(The keg is tapped!) Oktoberfest is running strong in Munich, but it is just getting started here in Farifield County! Come join the Happy Hour Club and all our members this Thursday, October 1st in Norwalk to celebrate Oktoberfest at Rowley’s Tavern! Festivities will include great deals on traditional Oktoberfest brews (featuring Spaten in big boy mugs) and a full sampling of their Oktoberfest menu! For some reason it seems that everyone just gets friendly with big mugs in their hands, so stop on by and enjoy a beer with your fellow Happy Hour Club members!

The fall has hit and it looks like those warm (although seldom) summer nights are a thing of the past. However, rather heading right for your comfy couch, come join the Happy Hour Club this Thursday, September 24th at 7:00pm at Tiernan’s Bar in Stamford! This event will feature $3 domestic draft, Sam, Miller lite, Shock Top, from 7-9 for our members w/ name tag. So Tivo It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and make you way to Tiernan’s this Thursday for a serious bit of socializing! Also, stick around for some live music later on in the night!

The week we have been promising for 3 weeks is finally here!! This Thursday, September 17th, come down to Burger Bar in South Norwalk and join the Happy Hour Club in celebrating their 3rd anniversary!! This shindig will start at 6:00pm and go all night! This is an official unofficial happy hour club event, so there will be no name tags (The Management is out of town, working to start HHC Sao Paulo- seriously it is going to happen). However, there will be live music from our friend The Peace, beer pong tables (yes, plural!!), traditional mexican tacos, mini burgers, reduced prices on some food, free beer, games, Go-Go dancers, fire eaters and more!!! This is a night you won’t want to miss and one we are more than a little dissapoirted that we will miss!!

Come join the Happy Hour Club this Thursday, September 10th at the Black Bear Saloon in Sono @6:45pm! Similar to last week, we will be running a 2 hour $20 open bar from 7-9pm for our members! This should be the perfect means to get into the mood for the 1st game of the NFL season, with the Tennessee Titans Facing off against the defending champion Pittsburgh Steelers @8:30pm! We always have a blast and a strong turnout at Black Bear Sono, so come down this week and let your social circle expand.

Dear Fans of Fun:
As you may or may not know, we here at the Happy Hour Club are Fans of Fun (AKA FOFs – for reference please view the photos above). In addition to enjoying ourselves via weekly events, drink specials, socializing and more, we also want to try and swing those who consider themselves to be Not a Fan of Fun (AKA NAFOF’s) to join the “good side”. It is a daunting challenge often impaired by long commutes, bad weather and many other tough obstacles, but someone has to do it and we are hopeful that in the coming weeks can deliver a few events so fun that NAFOFs will leave their Thursday night TV and PJs to become FOFs!!
To help kick off this social movement, come join us this Thursday, September 3rd @ 7:00pm at Hula Hanks in Stamford for another OPEN BAR HAPPY HOUR!! That’s right FOFs, for just $20 our members will be enjoying a 2 hour open bar (one hour better than 2 weeks ago)!!! If that wasn’t enough, you can get your food on too, with 1/2 priced appetizers till 9pm! Still not enough, there will be other drink specials for our members post the open bar and you know you can have fun this Thursday night, because the next day is the Friday before Labor Day and who really works on that day?
