The Management will be out of town this week. We are headed to London to investigate international expansion opportunities and pitch some social networking ideas at the G-20 Summit. However, we wouldn’t dare leave you without your weekly Happy Hour Club fix…so, this Thursday, April 2nd, The HHC will be headed to Tiernan’s Bar in Stamford @7:00pm.
Our loyal and long standing member Mike, will be running the show along with a few other members. There will be drink special, live music from The Blue Agaves and of course HHC name tags. Come down this week and celebrate spring with the HHC!

We have in many ways tried to make the Happy Hour Club everything to everyone, but it has been pretty damn impossible to pull it off and we have ended up ignoring our 35+ demographic to some extnt. To right these wrongs, we have decided to launch this spinoff, with more appropriate events, but the same amount of fun!

Join The Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk for their Spring Spirits event on March 28th!! A fun evening of food, beer and wine tasting and a fabulous silent auction. The event will be held at the Meadowlands — Darien Community Association from 6 – 10 p.m. The 2009 Community Leadership Award presentation will take place at 7:30 p.m.

Hello Happy Hour Club:
Winter is finally coming to a close, and March is now in full swing. This can mean 2 things:
- 1. You are creepily preparing for a week long vacation that coincides with the Spring Break of your alma mater or…
- You have taken a sudden liking to Guinness pints, poorly lit bars, U2, and soda bread.
For those of you in the first group, it’s time to grow up. For those of you in the second group, you are in luck! Welcome to Week 2 of Irish Appreciation Month! That’s right. We have dedicated a whole month to Irish bars to celebrate four leaf clovers, red hair, and blood sausage!
So for those of you who bleed green, this Thursday we will be at Tigin Irish Pub & Restaurant in Stamford, starting @ 7:00 PM.
It just so happens that Tigin was voted “Best Pub of Connecticut 2008” by Connecticut Magazine, so be sure to stop by for a pint and some socializing!

Dear Happy Hour Club Members:
If there is one thing that the Happy Hour Club loves, it is leprechauns, shamrocks and Lucky Charms! As such, we have decided to make March, Irish Appreciation Month! Why? Because St. Patrick’s Day just isn’t enough and damn if we don’t look good in green!! What this means for the HHC is that EVERY event this month will be held at an Irish owned or themed establishment here in Fairfield County!
To kick things off, we will be this Thursday, March 5th at Rowley’s Tavern in Norwalk at 7:00pm! Fergus Rowley himself will be in attendance and is going to entertain us with his rendition of Michael Flatley’s Riverdance! Our members will get to observe this spectacle and enjoy $4.50 Smithwick’s drafts, $5 Guinness drafts and $2.50 Bud and Bud lights all night long!! After the show, get ready to throw you’re your own awe inspiring performance at Rowley’s new Karaoke Thursdays! Grab that green turtle neck your mom bought you last fall, ready your vocal chords and come down to Rowley’s this Thursday night!
