Hello Members:
This week, The FCHHC will be headed to Monster B’s in Stamford on Wednesday, July 2nd @ 7:00pm. Although it is a little off the beaten path, Monster B’s is always a good time. Stocked full of more beverage choices than you can imagine and an awesome patio to enjoy the summer nights. If you haven’t been to Monster B’s yet, there is no better night than Wednesday. To top it all off, Monster B’s has extended an amazing special to our members (with name tag) of $3 for any of their 30 drafts and $5 martinis!

The Ginger Man Recap….

Hello Happy Hour Club,
Thanks to everyone who came out on Wednesday night to The Ginger Man for another awesome evening with the FCHHC. Unlike most of our Thursday night happy hours at bars with outdoor patios, we had perfect weather all night. In addition to enjoying delicious beverages including iced tea and liquid gold, we also had a good turnout with over 70 people in attendance.

Happy Hour - Wednesday June 25th at The Ginger Man in South Norwalk 7:00pm

Happy Hour Club:
This week we are a little pressed, so this posting is going to be somewhat brief… This week’s happy hour has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 25th at The Ginger Man in historic South Norwalk @ 7:00pm.
Now we are sure that some of you may have obligations on Thursday that may require you to take it easy on Wednesday, but that is no reason not to come down to The Ginger Man and socialize. The night is set to be beautiful, so grab a friend or two and come join us on the outdoor patio for a fun evening with the FCHHC (we shortened it to HHC last week and got some push back, so we are now back to ‘FCHHC’).
As for specials, The Ginger Man has offered our members $1 off all drinks with name tag proof of membership.
Once again, we apologize for the briefness of this posting and promise that soon we will deliver you a super sweet post packed with delicious pictures and lots of Razz Matazz!

Two Nights, Two Events, Twice the Awesomeness…

Hello Happy Hour Club!
As many of you know, this week marks a challenge of epic proportions for the FCHHC…Alive at 5 starts on Thursday evenings!!! Now many of you have already asked… “What will the HHC do when Alive at 5 starts?” Well, the answer is finally here… we are going to embrace Alive at 5 and join them in their Summer Kick-Off! But that’s not all folks, in addition to throwing a Thursday event in celebration of Alive at 5 and the warm weather, we are also going to head back out on Friday to join yet another Summer Kick-Off event. So, what that means is we will be running two, count them T-W-O, happy hour club events this week…
Event #1:
Immediately following the conclusion of Alive at 5, the Happy Hour Club will be headed to Rack ‘n’ Roll in Stamford to continue what will be a stellar Thursday evening. The Rack will be serving up $4 you call and maybe even more to all our members. On top of that, the presence of a live band (Murray The Wheel) kicking out jams will give you no reason/excuse to stop “getting’ your groove on”. So, come join the FCHHC for an awesome after party at Rack ‘n’ Roll!
Event #2:
Sticking with the summer time themes and kick-offs, we will be headed to the Thirsty Turtle in Stamford on Friday, June 20th at 8:30pm. On top of a “delicious” summer time celebration, our members will be enjoying $2 you call its from 9-10pm (with name tag) and don’t worry it doesn’t stop there… after 10pm, $3 Land Sharks and Keep the Cup Captains all night.
Now if you are skeptical about the Turtle, don’t be… the Happy Hour Club will taking the Turtle to all new levels of cowabuganess (read it again, we did use that word). Our members know that once you throw that name tag on, the party kicks up a notch and the good times roll…
If the above image does not get you in the mood to come socialize with Happy Hour Club at the Turtle on Friday, maybe a a sweet jams from one of the greatest musical collaboration’s of all-time…
When you are sitting there on Friday afternoon, thinking you might not be able to make it out to Happy Hour Club, just re-watch the video and ask yourself… “What would the Fat Boys do?”

Barnum Sail The Sound… and you’re invited…

If you are sitting there beside yourself wondering what you will do with your weekend, check out the Barnum Sail the Sound. Spend your Saturday night cruising across the Long Island sound, enjoying frozen drinks, beers and entertainment all for $50. If that wasn’t reason enough to get off your ass and head to the boat, its for a good cause and to top it all off, you will be bumping elbows with all the up and ups… do we hear networking opportunities??

O’Neill’s Recap…

Thanks to everyone who came down to O’Neill’s last Thursday! We had over 90 members show up and despite the heat wave, we still managed to have a blast.

Happy Hour - Thursday June 12th at O’Neill’s Pub in SoNo @ 6:45pm

As The Management, we like to consider ourselves pretty well-informed on the local bar scene. However, one upcoming change slipped under our radar… the classic South Norwalk staple O’Neill’s Restaurant and Tavern is closing down their current location and moving on to bigger things (30 yards away). Although this is not a big move, we feel it is only appropriate to make a trip down to the location that has housed this amazing bar for the last 10 years!
So, this Thursday, June 12th @6:45pm, we will be headed to O’Neill’s for celebratory happy hour club event to send them off in fashion. Their management has also been grateful enough to extend our members their happy hour specials for the evening!
What that means is:
$3 Domestics (Drafts & Bottles)
$4 Imports (Drafts & Bottles)
&
Comparable Mixed Drink Specials
As if that wasn’t good enough…starting at 8:30pm we will get to enjoy our socializing and Guinness to some great Irish Music. To get us all in the mood, a little music and dancing…
We will also have you know that the lead singer (Shane McGowan) of this band (The Pogues) is this guy…

SCB Recap….

Happy Hour Club:
SBC was a blast last night, with 100+ members in attendance! As always, we had some old members, new members and even some still trying to get their feet wet. While we enjoyed the delicious SBC house brews, some of our members stepped up and belted out some sweet karaoke tunes. “Baby Got Back” was absoblutely ridiculous and we even have some video footage that we may through up later on.

- Bar fight? (not really cool, but that shit was crazy and one of our members took a shard of glass to the neck…pics are available on the photos page)
