Hello Members:
This Saturday, June 27th, The Happy Hour Club is headed to Captain’s Cove in Bridgeport/Black Rock for a fun night on the water with FAKE ID!!
The festivities will be kicking off sometime after 8pm, with our members enjoying $10 domestic pitcher and $12 import pitchers ALL NIGHT with the HHC name tags!
If you haven’t been down to Captain’s Cove yet, it is located right on the marina, has an awesome bar (including a replica of the Titanic) and can really throw a party!
Following the first Alive at 5 of the summer, the party will be headed to Seaside Tavern!!! That’s right, come down and join your fellow Happy Hour Club members this Thursday, June 25th @ 8:00pm for a great night of live Ska/Reggae music with two fantastically talented bands…

The Stress take inspiration from 60’s Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae, as well as from a variety of far-flung influences reaching through soul, punk rock, British-invasion, blues, folk, and jazz. The combined songwriting powers of the group, as well as their instrumental and vocal skill, show through in their highly original, yet familiar sound. The band takes pride in their ability to write songs that range from self-conscious to world-conscious.

Our friends at The Greenwich Jaycees (www.greenwichjaycees.org) are hosting a Summer Membership Open House on Wednesday, June 24th at 7pm at The Ginger Man in Greenwich. The Jaycees are a local organization that provides young professionals opportunities for personal and professional development through local community service, networking, and social events. They have some exciting volunteer opportunities coming up, so check them out at The Ginger Man in Greenwich this week to find out more!
This week Happy Hour Club is headed to Wednesday Night! What’s the special ocassion? We are joining in to help The Stamford Town Center kick off their Summer Jazz on The Plaza!
About Jazz on the Plaza…
Musicians from the Young Artists Philharmonic Summer Jazz Workshop will perform every Wednesday from June 17th through August 12th from 6-8pm. Jazz ensembles will perform a variety of musical selections under a tent outside of Barnes & Noble.
This Wednesday, June 17 @ 6:00pm the HHC will be joining the festivities with the the Bill Harris Quartet with special guest John Fumasoli!!!!
Also, drink specials will be running at the participating bars on the Plaza!

Hello Members,
The summer seems to have finally arrived and with the weather heating up, we thought we would heat things up too…
This Thursday, June 4th, The Happy Hour Club will be headed to SBC in Stamford @ 6:30pm! This night will entail $3 house drafts, maybe some specials for the none beer drinkers, Karaoke and much much more! You can res assured the doors will be open and the outdoor deck will be taken advantage of!

Hello Happy Hour People:
This Thursday, May 21st @6:00pm, the Happy Hour Club will be taking to the streets of Stamford and visiting Kona Grill! Kona Grill has a great outdoor area and the forecast calls for nothing but sun, so come join us for a great Thursday night!
For drink specials, Kona runs a reverse happy hour 5-7pm and 9-11pm. For our members, Kona is also throwing together a smorgasboard of eats that only those with name tags will have access to.
This is going to be our first real nice outdoor summer happy hour, so come down, have a drink, a bite to eat and meet some new people!!
This week we are skipping our regular Thursday night gig for a make-shift Happy Hour Club weekend…
First, our good friends Black Taxi will be playing at Seaside Tavern this Friday, May 15th. For our members, show up before 9pm and enjoy $1 off drinks, $0.50 wings and $5 sliders. If you need a refresh of your memory, check out Black Taxi’s new music video on the Lennon Tour Bus.
For Saturday, head to Black Rock for the 2nd Annual Black Rock Pub Crawl for Breast Cancer!
The pub crawl registration will kick off at Black Rock Castle at 12:00pm. The fee/donation for this event is $20, which gets you a T-Shirt and admission to the crawl. This event is looking to be big and we have already heard a ton of members are plnning on going, so don’t miss out!!

It is no secret that the Happy Hour Club is a fan of original music. As such, we have decided to throw our own little original music festival! Next Saturday, May 23rd at 8pm, The Phoenix Rising Music Festival will be in full force at Rack ‘n’ Roll in Stamford!!
For this show we will be featuring 4 great local bands!! These bands are going to rock your socks off, so get into it!!!!
